(Taraweeh): This is a sunnah prayer to be performed after the night (Isha) prayer and before Witr prayer during the month of Ramadan. Eight rak`as are commonly performed, in sets of two rak`as each and three more rak`as for the Witr prayer. It may be performed individually but preferably in a congregation (group) in the mosque.
