Disliked acts

Back to Chapter 4

1. Needless fidgeting with one's body or clothing.

2. Placing one's hand on his waist.

3. Gazing upwards.

4. Closing one's eyes unless there are distractions.

5. Covering the mouth.

6. Praying when food is being served. It is better to eat first so hunger and the desire for food may not distract from prayers.

7. Praying when feeling the urgency to urinate or defecate (answering the call of nature).

8. Praying when overcome by sleep.
